Show notes: probably the best story about this was getting two tickets for $40 on the sidewalk an hour before the show. the guys girlfriend wanted $40 each, but once I saw the $0.00 paid on the ticket (comps), I held firm, and he won her over with "we can get 2 drinks honey, lets just get in there", so myself and the at-the-time girlfriend were in the door for a Jackson each!
Adelita's Way opened, and they were alright...taped them from the lower level (100 section), about halfcourt, right side, 20 rows up from the floor (filmed them too). but seeing that section fill up (where the tickets were), I decided to head up to the 300 level for filming, but that didn't really matter, as the 32gb flashcards I bought on Ebay were knockoffs, and though the camera said the cam was recording (I *thought* the whole GNR show got recorded), they "filled up" at roughly the 4GB mark. still have the card(s, this happened with 3 of them), and they still say they're "full" (25-28GB each), but there's only about 5m of the GNR on there before it goes blank. and yes, I've tried recuva and about 10 other recovery programs, but I still hold out hope, someday....
Axl and friends put on a solid, albeit somewhat soul-less show. it was fun, and better than expected, and it seemed to go on forever, but it was finally over, and it's finally here to either pleasure or irritate your earholes!
thanks be to dandrew, throw some verbal frankincense and myrrh his way (nee: a quick "thanks" never hurt anyone).
and a big upraised middle finger aimed in my direction is just fine and (Jim) dandy!
I'm back to the fields of green....more, later!
